Avail Media Leaders Recognized Among Houston’s “Women Who Mean Business”

Each year, the Houston Business Journal honors the women shaping the future of Houston’s business community through its Women Who Mean Business Awards. The awards celebrate the region’s most accomplished female executives, entrepreneurs, and nonprofit leaders—those making a meaningful impact in their industries and beyond.

This year, two of Avail Media’s own leaders were recognized among the 2025 honorees:  Amanda Reed and Kelley Robinson.

Out of nearly 400 submissions across ten categories, Kelley Robinson was recognized as an honoree in Outstanding Business Leaders in Professional Services, and Amanda Reed was honored in the Women to Watch (10 years or less in their industry) category. Both awards highlight their leadership, innovation, and contributions to Houston’s thriving media and marketing landscape.

“Working with Allen Brivic early in my career gave me invaluable insight into the advertising world. His mentorship helped transform my college interests into a true passion for this industry,” she shared. “The media landscape is constantly changing, and staying curious is key. Growth often happens outside your comfort zone—say yes to opportunities that challenge you.” Kelley, Avail Media’s President, reflected on the early career influences that shaped her path.
“For the past ten years, I’ve spoken to Texas A&M students about what a future in advertising can look like—it’s so rewarding to invest in the next generation,” she said. “My grandmother taught me to think differently and find new paths when faced with roadblocks. I try to bring that same creativity and optimism to my work every day.” Amanda, Avail’s Media Director, shared how mentorship and creativity have guided her career.

Both Kelley and Amanda embody the qualities that define Avail: curiosity, collaboration, and continuous growth. Their recognition not only celebrates their individual achievements but also reflects the broader culture of excellence that drives our team.

At Avail Media, we believe strong leadership inspires stronger results. We’re committed to cultivating a team that learns, leads, and gives back—to our clients, our industry, and our community. Seeing Kelley and Amanda honored among Houston’s Women Who Mean Business is a proud moment for our entire agency and a reminder of what’s possible when passion meets purpose.

Congratulations to Kelley and Amanda on this well-deserved recognition from the Houston Business Journal.
